“The stars of Coronation Street, Doctors, Emmerdale, EastEnders and Hollyoaks gathered for a night of glamour and celebration at the ninth annual ceremony honouring television’s most popular kitchen-sink dramas.
“There were 17 awards up for grabs, including Best Comedy Performance, Villain of the Year, Spectacular Scene of the Year, Best On-Screen Partnership and the ultimate accolade, Best British Soap presented by DSB
There was also a Lifetime Achievement awarded to an individual who has displayed lifelong dedication to the genre.”
