Dame Shirley will be attending this big Awards Ceremony due for broadcast at 9:00pm on ITV1 Wednesday 10 October.
It’s the ninth annual Pride of Britain Awards in association with the Daily Mirror, Tesco, ITV and the Prince’s Trust.
It is to celebrate and honour the achievements of our nation’s unsung heroes.
We might catch a glimpse of DSB among the biggest names in show business, sport and politics in the audience.

Last year Marks & Spencer featured Shirley in their superb UK Christmas TV commercial. It boosted their high street sales.
And, of course, the ad gave birth to Get The Party Started, the single, the album and Glasto glory.
According to the latest gossip, M&S are using the pop group Take That this Christmas.
I’m sure they will be great, and Take That are good singers. They were impressive at the British Movie Awards the other day. But it’s sad that M&S will not have the Dame adding her sparkle to the ice palace.
