Lots of DSB fans also like Joe Longthorne…

So here’s news of his DVD release on 1st December…

YOU AND ME

The film follows Joe through 2007 and culminates with the Variety Club’s Lifetime Achievement Ceremony.

That was in June at the Palace Hotel in Manchester. The event featured a galaxy of friends and celebrities.

 I was privileged to go to the Variety Club Ceremony and enjoyed a wonderful evening. Joe is a musical genius. I belong to his well-organised fan club. A duet with DSB would be heaven.

A tour is planned in 2008, including another amazing show at the London Palladium.

If you love Shirley but have never heard Joe, please give him an audition!

In 2000 DSB attended Cliff Richard’s 60th birthday party.

Here’s a short film of the party, on board a luxury yacht in Monte Carlo Harbour.

No music, but it shows everyone having a good time, and Dame Shirley’s funny quips.
