Leona for Bond?

There’s a rumour that Leona Lewis might sing the theme to the next James Bond movie.

As fans know, Dame Shirley has sung three magnificent Bond songs.

The producers offer no explanation why they have not chosen her again or commented. Perhaps it’s ageism or the belief that she’s not popular with people under 30. Glastonbury blew that idea apart.

Amy Winehouse had been tipped until her drugs problem emerged. Other ideas have ranged from Kylie to a Finnish punk rocker. Recent theme songs have been flops.

Still number one in the UK singles chart, and with the fastest selling album of all time, Leona would be excellent.

If they ignore Shirley, Leona could be the next best choice!
