Congratulations on the blog and for all of your obvious hard work in constantly finding interesting information and pictures, and for keeping it so regularly updated.
I just wanted to draw you attention to the great work of Helena Shenel who has been, as I’m sure you are aware, Dame Shirley’s singing teacher since the late eighties.
As a singer and past student of Helena’s myself, I know what marvellous work Helena has done in helping to keep Shirley’s voice in tip top condition!
She is, without doubt , one of the greatest singing teachers in the world and so many of the biggest stars today owe her so much.
It would be lovely if some sort of tribute could be made to this lady, whom I believe is the the best preservative since vinegar!!…Dame Shirley is the living proof!
I’m sure admirers of Shirley, still arguably the greatest singer in the world, would want to thank! What do you think?
