The Dame gave a magnificent performance as always!
I watched Shirley as a 12 yr old in the 60’s. I’ve now watched the recent Electric proms set five times. Shirley is utterly magnificent – beautiful – commanding the stage with the panache of Piaff plus the humbleness of someone who IS and always will be The |Girl From Tiger Bay. Three generations here have watched the concert and all have been blown away by the sheer artistry, style and talent. As an ex musician myself I was amazed by her control, power and perfect timing. It was genius.
For me it was a perfect performance five big golden stars – from a five star woman – beating her own drum – and it IS pretty.

amazing! awesome,This Great Dame never cease to amaze me. As always i’m blown away. I’m now on my 6th times watching this and i never get tired of it. Would it be nice if she can tour and perform once again in USA. The younger generation will truly witness a magnificent singer for her breath taking….gives it all performance!!!!!

Being only 49 years young, I have enjoyed Shirley since the 60’s – and have also had the pleasure of seeing Shirley Live in concert 3 times.

There are very few musicians who have the power to make me cry a tear or two and Dame Shirley is one of them.
I have never seen her perform and only knew a handful of her songs till I saw her on TV at the BBC Electric Proms. What a treat it was to watch. I’ve never seen anybody so totally commanding the audience as she did just there. It was breathtaking to watch and listen.
