How wonderful to see this footage , I had only ever seen a photograph of this event. A hard audience as Shirley is accustomed to her `people` but from occasions like this to `rocking` the crowd at Glastyonbury `our` Shirley proves to be the ultimate proffessional , If only I could see her one more time in a full concert, still many people never get the chance. I was thinking if I win the lottery attempting to book Shirley and requesting all my favourite songs. Who would like an invite? To the wisest woman above can I recommend `BASSEY 1959-1979 THE EMI/UNITED ARTIST YEARS` This CD set will be a brillant start.
Terence, I ordered Ms Bassey’s collection set entitled “FOUR DECADES OF SONG”. As I said above in my post, I ordered it from Amazon and was waiting on my delivery. Thank you so much for your comment to my post. why don’t we both do this: let’s save our money and make it to her next concert no matter what-no matter where! I am a new fan of “The Dame” Let’s not dream of lottery winnings, but lock ourselves up into a do-or die effort to support “Bassey History”.
