Shirley shocked after slapping Jack Jones!
Today the duet Dame Shirley did with Jack Jones on his show from 1977. They do a duet of ‘If’ which is a song from her 1977 Album ‘You take my heart away’.

There are not many newspaper articles from the year 1977 although it must have been a busy year for Dame Shirley Bassey but Carl from New Zealand sent us the ones at the bottom. Further more that year, the 1976 BBC-show was nominated for the Rose of Montreux but Shirley didn’t go there because Sharon graduated from university in Bristol and there were tours of Japan and the USA and a gala in Monte Carlo that year. The BBC-show did not win the Rose of Montreux because all the nominees had to send in a brochure about their contribution but Shirley’s brochure (below) (With special thanks to Rien) did not get there in time because it was too big and did not fit into the mailbox.
