Today a review of ‘You’re the one that I want’ which is a duet from the 1979 BBC-show Dame Shirley did with Lulu. The song was from the musical ‘Grease’ and on her 1995 album ‘Shirley Bassey sings the movies’ Dame Shirley Bassey recorded another song from that musical/film; ‘Hopelessly devoted to you’.
The duet of Shirley and Lulu ends in a fight and Lulu gets slapped by Shirley out of view from the BBC cameras.

Pieter what I can say, all your tv clips of shirley are fantastic and here is another brilliant example. When oh when will the BBC put her late 70′s series on to DVD for us all to enjoy. Thanks again, I’m a life long fan! Annie x
