Absolutely. Fabulous
I Love Shirley! Always have & always will….the ‘mix’ on this recording
is very partial to the accompaniment (i.e. drums, and electronic instruments) and not Shirley!
I don’t like the arrangement at all…that is not her style arrangement, with all of the electronics! There’s a glaring chordal error just before the ending…how did that make it through?
Also, this tune is a bit to ‘Moon-June-Croony’…she, however, could sing the phone book and it would be magnificent…so, one or two stars for the song, arrangement and mix and 5 stars for MS Bassey!
I am usually against remixes but actually quite like this….. I am dreaming Shirley will do a performance to celebrate 60 years
