I am contacting you from Sense – the national deafblind charity.
Dame Shirley Bassey has very kindly donated some signed shoes to us for a celebrity auction and I was hoping you could include on your website.
Best wishes, Vanessa
A pair of signed shoes donated by Dame Shirley Bassey. They are made from silver leather, and are from OFFICE. They are signed on the inside but as the lining is dark and the pen was black the autograph doesn’t show up in the photo.
Dame Shirley Bassey Leads Celebrity charity auction.
Ever fancied slipping on a pair of Dame Shirley’s sparkly stilettos? And swooning when you realise she’s signed them?
Do you fancy wearing clobber from your favourite stars, but think that stealing clothes from their washing lines takes fan-dom too far?
Or do you have a lust for the celebrity look but don’t quite have the wallet-power to match?
We all know it makes sense to shop at charity shops. So imagine if there was a charity shop racked out with A-list celebrity designer clobber from Hollywood’s finest, Hogwarts Alumni, Chelsea Players, three Dames and a sprinkling of chart topping divas.
Sashay forward national deafblind charity Sense with a surprise pop-up celebrity charity boutique from March 4th -7th.
It’s called “Celebrities Strip It Off For Charity”.
Dames Shirley Bassey, Helen Mirren and Judy Dench, along with Kevin Spacey, Ewan McGregor, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Frank Lampard, Ashley Cole, Corrine Bailey Rae and Roisin Murphy are among a throng of celebrities who have all donated some of their favourite clothing items to raise money for people who are both deaf and blind.
Jane Arnell from Sense says: “When we asked show-business’ finest to give us the clothes off their backs – they literally did. Their clothes will become a charity auction with a difference. All the celeb items will be displayed in store, so you can check out the gear for yourself”
