Glastonbury, June 2007

(Non DSB)

Just received this newsletter from Never The Bride, Dame Shirley’s favourite rock group who helped get the album, the single, the living tree and Glastonbury started…

“Hi Everyone,

We at Camp NTB hope you had a great Easter despite the weather. We had the most amazing gig in Bristol and would like to thank everyone for coming. There were lots of NTB Virgins in the house and it was great to meet you all.

Nikki is just on her way home from Madrid after doing a spectacular show at the OK! Magazine Madrid Launch Party. She performed with Peter Andre and Roger Daltry. It was an amazing night with gallons of champagne and mountains of fabulous food. The atmosphere was electric. Photos will be on the website next week.

We are really looking forward to Playing at Mr Kyps on Saturday its one of our favourite venues so grab a bunch of buddies and lets party. We have had some amazing and memorable times at this special venue. Mr Kyp himself is a dear friend. He also makes sure the gals have enough Tequila ;O). The setting is very Rock n Roll with a big Stage that gives you that feeling of wanting to dive into the audience and bodysurf your way to the bar ha ha. Supporting the band that night is Susy Thomas, one of the best female singer songwriters in the UK with an amazingly smoky voice that lures you into her music, definitely not to be missed. Come down and have some fun with us. Once again tickets are already on sale from info@mrkyps.net.

Monday 31st March NTB will be back at “The Bulls Head” in Barnes for their very successful “Acoustic Sessions” at which they perform a vast selection of songs from their 6 albums, some unique versions of various covers and this month some NEW material! Last Month was sold out!! It was a fantastic night with Eliza Wren Payne as their guest & Nikki’s first gig since her operation. This month the New Zeeland powerhouse Diva “Rietta Austin” will be supporting the band (“Rietta Austin IS Music,” – Kirk Pengilly of INXS). Doors open at 8pm. Rietta onstage from 8.30pm sharp – 9pm. Arrive early to avoid disappointment. Tickets only available on a first come first served basis on the night of the gig.

We look forward to seeing you at these shows. Why not spread the word & bring some Never the Bride virgins along!

Peace, Love & Rock n Roll, Nikki, Been & The Boys. x”
