Once again as I decide to take a week’s break away from home there is news to post. This year I came away prepared and brought my laptop with me!

It looks terrific to me and I’m looking forward to this release. The good news is that further releases are also being planned according to what I’ve heard. I certainly hope so. All these shows were screened on the ITV network here in the UK. I only wish the BBC would get their act together and release some of their fabulous material for fans. I hope this release does sell well as it just might encourage them!

This DVD is available to pre-order and as I’ve already stated it is released July 12th.

I hope this becomes available for Region 1 (US and Canada) as I do not have a region-free DVD player. I want this disc!!

Maybe we could all start sending requests to the stern old lady (BBC) to prove that there may be some fiscal advantage in releasing some of their material, not just the fact that it would please many people (shock, horror).

Oh my God……so many selections from 1971 which I consider the Dame’s best year in showbiz since it was the year of the SOMETHING album.

Terence, put me down as another HUGE fan of early 1970s Shirley. “Till Love Touches Your Life” from the RVP 1971 SMOKES. I think though that SOMETHING came out in 1970, it was SOMETHING ELSE that came out in 1971 (which has the studio version of Till Love Touches Your Life). Shirley was just smokin’ hot during this period, both musically, and her stage presence/costumes.

Just to add to my previous post, I don’t think it is enough to have a “region free” player in the US to play a UK DVD, becuase of PAL vs NTSC formats. So I really hiope they issue this for Region 1…………….
