Lyrics
You know that my tears, have kept me awake
The longer you’re gone, I’ll hunger and shake
From Warsaw to Rome, I’ll wait out of time
With you in my heart
The Rhythm Divine
So won’t you come close, bring this to an end
With each winter rose, my love I will send
So tender the night, when you hold me tight
With you in my heart
The Rhythm Divine
With you in my heart
The Rhythm Divine
You know that these tears, have kept me awake
The longer you’re gone, I’ll hunger and shake
From Warsaw to Rome, I’ll wait out of time
With you in my heart
The Rhythm Divine
The Rhythm Divine
The Rhythm Divine
With you in my heart
The Rhythm Divine
Love the song by DSB!

This is an outstanding post Pieter and Susan. Love and enjoyed everything, the great pictures, the videos, and as Pruette stated Dame Shirley Bassey did the song great. You really did outdo yourself with this one Pieter, and everyone involved. Thank you so much. This I really treasure.

About the best of her unusal songs, demonstrating her incredible versatility. Stumbled on this “Yello- One Secound” lp quite by accident, while on a trip back home to Brooklyn, and decided to go record shopping over in Manhattan. Had it not been for the clerk telling me about her being featured on this lp, I don’t know how long before I would have found out about this beautiful haunting classic. Thanks blog for it’s revival.
