French TV News Interview and Gala de l’Espoir Show

On 4th December 1987, Shirley Bassey performed in Paris at the Champs Elysées Theatre to raise money for AIDS research. It was the first Franco-British gala, chaired by Line Renaud and organized by the ‘Association des Artistes contre le SIDA’ (AACS) with its British counterpart the ‘Association of Artists Against AIDS.’ On 13th December, the following interview was broadcast:
