British Summer Time is here – Bassey and Blake set to turn up the Henley heat!

A highlight of the British summer calendar 2016 will take place Saturday 9th July on a floating stage in Henley on Thames…

“Dame Shirley Bassey will guest star alongside Blake at the Henley Festival, after the two acts combined successfully in 2015 recording the Christmas classic – Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire. Dame Shirley needs little introduction with a career and back catalogue spanning over sixty years, with classic tracks such as the James Bond hits ‘Goldfinger’ and ‘Diamonds Are Forever’ to her name; she will bring unrivalled glitz and glamour to the 2016 Henley Festival.”

“Blake will bring their distinctive ‘crossover’ of electrical and classical music to the fourth night of the Henley Festival 2016. The trio have enjoyed fantastic success since forming in 2007, with their first album reaching number one in the UK Classical Album Chart and receiving a Classical BRIT Award. They continue to grow in popularity and return to the Henley Festival for the first time since 2011 with over 1 million album sales to their name.”

Tickets for the event range from £35.00 to £110.00. For big spenders, VIP packages are also available at £325 (Grandstand A) and £350 (Lawn) – these include champagne reception, three-course dinner with wines, coffee and complimentary bar.

Awesome to think that THIS will be my stage on July 9th with the Blake boys and Shirley Bassey, Henley Festival, whoop!!
