Acccording to Music News: “Blake started the night with moving renditions of She and Bring Him Home before Bassey came on stage opening with a spine tingling rendition of Goldfinger, Bassey appeared on stage in head to toe silver sequins and belted out some of her classic hits including Diamonds are Forever and The Lady is a Tramp. Blake and Bassey closed the Saturday night of the festival with Bassey’s rendition of Hey Jude before throwing roses into the audience.”

ASTOUNDING as usual. Hope the long rumored mini tour of major world cities soon, turns out true. It would be such a Great treat for all her new fans inrecent years since she stopped touring alot several years ago. Saw her 10 times between 1980-1997, met her as fan and got an autograph one night outside Carnegie Hall late 1985. Yes I’m greedy. But this isn’t just any pop diva- it’s the worlds Best female vocalist from the 20th century still going strong. LONG LIVE DAME SHIRLEY BASSEY!

OMG. Just watching the video gave me goosebumps. If I could just see her live once more I’d be content for the rest of my days. Wishing and hoping that she returns to the U.S.
