Today a few newspaper articles from 2009. It was significant year in Dame Shirley Bassey’s career. That year saw the release of one of her best albums The Performance. Also that year she gave her last real full concert at the Electric Proms. The Mail On Sunday gave a free CD for her readers with her biggest hit plus two new songs from the new album The performance.
