Today a special request by Dame Shirley fan Howard. He wanted to see Does Anybody Miss Me once more which was the fist song of the first 1979 BBC tv. series . Thank you very much Howard for the request. I also would like to thank everybody for the kind wishes I got during my illness.

I WAS ONLY 12 OR 13 WHEN I FIRST HEARD THIS AND WAS EVEN YOUNGER WHEN I STARTED LISTNING TO SHIRLEY AS MY MUM ALWAYS PLAYED HER ON THE RECORD PLAYER.I AGREE TERRY AND ESTHER WHAT A LOVELY WAY TO START THE WEEK ONCE AGAIN THANKS TO EVERYONE AT THE BASSEY BLOG 🙂

Fantastic that you are be back Pieter!! And back with this great Blog. ‘Does Anybody Miss Me’ was the song that made me a real Bassey fan! When I hear her singing this song for the very first time I was completely fascinated of this unique voice !!! Now 51 years later I am still in love with this fantastic voice!!! 💖
