The year 1977 saw the release of the album You Take My Heart Away. There was a three week tour through Russia and the 1976 BBC shows had a rerun on tv and were nominated for the Rose Of Montreux. Shirley was a guest on the Jack Jones Show and did a duet with him.

Great articles. I remember this as the 2nd Lp I bought by Bassey around 1977 after I had 1st turned onto her Lp “Love, Life, and Feelings” a year earlier. I still love it here in 2021- my favorite song on it is her beautiful rendition of the song “Perfect Strangers”. Bassey is always times – LONG LIVE THE DAME !!
