The fault with that album was Michael Alexander used a synth for the sounds of a full orchestra.

WOW I never knew that Ian Habitts in all these years -interesting. You evidently have a better ear and knowledge on this than I do. I did enjoy the Lp very much. I thought her song “He was beautiful” was just that, beautiful; amidsts the others like the Lionel Richie song “Still”, “The power of love” and “How do you keep the music playing”.
