Last week a video appeared on YouTube of Dame Shirley Bassey and singer Gabrielle. Dame Shirley Bassey and Gabrielle took a break from rehearsals for Safeway Picnic 2002 concert in Hyde park to help plant a tree which was dedicated to them in their upcoming performance for the Prince’s trust. With rehearsels well underway Dame Shirley Bassey and Gabrielle attended the cerimonial planting of a tree, dedicated to all the performers in honour of their participation in the charity concert. Both singers admitted they don’t have green fingers despite being thrilled of having a tree dedicated to them. Other people who have received the honour include Queen Elizabeth, Diana Princess of Wales, Pavarotti, James Coburn and Ava Gardner.
