Isabel Pantoja has been one of the great protagonists of the traditional Ball of the Rose that is held every year in Monaco and is presided over by the Grimaldi family as exceptional hosts. In this edition, all eyes (at least those that came from Spain) were focused on the singer who attended this event for the first time, coinciding with her 50th anniversary in the world of music. Everything, thanks to the invitation of Manel Dalgó, a Catalan artist, partner of the businessman Thomas Schimeder, who lives in France and who, in addition to having relations with the princely family, is a true admirer of the interpreter of ‘Sailor of Lights’.
The dance, which each season is inspired by a different theme, this year was centered on the Bollywood universe, however, we were left wanting to see the Sevillana dressed in a sari, the traditional Indian female costume. In her place, she wore a very spring dress, with fuchsia pink as the protagonist, green details and two large flowers, one on the shoulder and the other on the wrist.
With a splendid smile, Isabel has been able to fulfill one of her dreams, sharing a table and tablecloth with the British singer Shirley Bassey, one of the most anticipated artists at this Monegasque jet-setting event. In fact, this was the beginning of everything. According to what Dalgó himself, promoter of the invitation to the tonadillera, has recounted, someone from Kiko Rivera’s mother’s team contacted him to arrange a meeting with the British singer.
