The year 1979 was a very busy year for Shirley. A world tour and she played Broadway that year. Also the recording of her second series of six tv. shows for the BBC. below a fabulous video of the Barry Manilow song Daybreak that was recorded for one of the BBC shows but was edited out. Listening to the songs I find it hard to believe that it was recorded for one of the BBC shows. To me it sounds more that it was a studio recording for the album You Take My Heart Away.
