Live at the Cafe de Paris -1956-

As a follow up on the last blogpost more facts about the live performance at the Cafe de Paris in October 1956.

At the end of the Seventies I found this LP on a school trip to Berlin and I could not wait to get home to play it. Side one contains songs from the Cafe de Paris performance and side two are studio recordings. The title of the first song is wrong on the LP. The song was Born To Sing The Blues not The Birth Of The Blues which was another recording of Shirley’s. In 2007 these 5 live songs were released on a compilation CD called Shirley Bassey The Early Years.
