Last night we heard about the death of singer, songwriter and filmstar Sandro de América (64) from super fan Henry Franqui. Sandro was the writer of “The greatest performance of my life”. (originally “Asi”). He was born in Argentina in 1945 and died last night from complications from heart and lung transplant surgery, doctors at a hospital in the western Argentine city of Mendoza said. The singer, whose real name was Roberto Sanchez, began his rock career in the 1960s in the style of Elvis Presley.
