Dame Shirley Bassey has sung Hey Jude for many years at live concerts but it was not until 2014 the song was recorded in the studio for the album Hello Like Before. The album was released on CD and vinyl and Hey Jude was only released on the CD. Below you can find the definitive version of this song. Seen her 10 times in concert either at Carnegie Hall, Broadway or Westbury Music Fair, between 1980-1997. I remember when I first heard her version of this classic Beetle song. It had to grow on me compared to basically all her other material. I grew to like it the more I heard it live, all those years ago. It was great to hear it on her last Lp/cd. What a tribute for Dame Shirley to have done it in the old studio the Beetles recorded some of their music.
